so, got myself a new toy.

it is a 1993 bmw k1100rs. sexy!

got a little work i need to do on it:
replace the seat
replace the decals
have the fairings repainted this winter
repair the anti-theft system

thankfully none of that stuff prevents me from riding this well above the speed limit.

oh, i also have the hard saddle bags but they aren't attached currently.

Nice man! I'm thinking about getting a bike next. I'll probably get a boat before the bike, but it's definitely on the list.

i said repair.

the guy who owned it before didn't understand how it worked so he disabled it. but for some reason in doing so he removed the led indicator on the steering column/cluster. so i need to replace that and it doesn't seem to be operating. he probably unplugged it and that is all i need to do, but i just need to figure out how to trouble shoot it.
